High Performance Coach
My name is Unna Goldsworthy. Home for me is on the Mornington Peninsula, in a sweet little suburb called Mount Martha. But, home generally feels wherever the ocean or sea is.
I'm known as one of Australia's most highly regarded Exercise Physiologists and Coaches, recognized for creating impact and creating it quickly.
I am an Exercise Physiologist and high-performance Coach with a Masters degree and 20 years of experience. I specialise in helping individuals return to their bodies to cultivate calm and focus in challenging environments. Together, we redefine wellbeing as a solid foundation for both performance and life, while strengthening character and identity, especially when achieving wellbeing feels challenging.
Clients can expect a transformation in their connection to how they make decisions towards their future and get clear on how their story manifests in their physiology. To do this, be prepared for hard-hitting questions, awkward conversations, and taking responsibility for your physical and emotional health.
This looks like clear choices around moving our physiology to create self-regulation and using self regulation to honour the health of our body. We get conscious and connected on filling the gap between stimulus and response with integrity. We get very clear on what you need to be the best version of yourself in all facets of how you function and help you create that in a way that fits your life.
I work with a wide range of people, including athletes, leaders, entrepreneurs, those with sudden health changes, and those striving to maintain choices that matter. Those interested in moving beyond wellness to fitness and beyond resilience to anti-fragility. I'm often brought in to work with those considered talent or those managing role progression, to ensure focus and longevity; high performers needing to manage energy.
My superpower is my ability to straddle the nuance of emotional and physical health strategies that launch a Leader's ability to climb.
Helping people of purpose create their impact is thrilling to me. We all need help seeing our blindspots and getting comfortable with being great.
Connection - connection to me is hearing people well and being heard. I think this originates from the need to understand and be understood. It has a place or sense of belonging that feels deeply loving.
Freedom - this is mental, emotional and physical in all aspects of life. It is ease that gives me chills when others achieve it and when you experience it personally. An idea or problem clicking into solved mode, finding balance in a challenging moment, finding flow in your body.
I am your country service station kid. This built the scaffold of a life of being a people person through watching my father and being of service to the family business. Now, at home you will find my two wonderful children, 6 and 12 years old and my partner who is creative and funny. I keep perspective by exercising and being with my friends. You’ll find me doing long walks, swimming (not my favourite but I do it) and strength training, or volunteering at our local reforestation group with my kids. I get energy from being a cheerleader. There is nothing more exciting than seeing wonderful people doing cool things in the world.
