Paul Taylor Masterclass Recording

Hi all, thank you so much for joining us on the 15th June for Paul Taylor’s masterclass. What a fun yet confronting session. I hope you’ve all been having cold showers and blaming him for it. We will be writing an article with some added research on this for our Coach Place members.

Don’t forget to do your box breathing. I’ve been sharing this technique with clients for a long time and many are very gratified to have this strategy in their tool box. Also sending you a friendly reminder in regards fewer donuts, more sleep and no mobiles by your bed! Boring maybe - but important ;-)

In the masterclass, Paul referenced a number of resources that he would love to share with you:

  1. His podcasts is Paul’s MindBodyBrain Project Podcast. He interviews world-class experts on a range of issues to do with health and performance.
  2. On this link you’ll find his 8-minute workout and lots of other educational videos, as well as an e-book. Keep an eye on this link as more resources will be added over time. You know how passionate I am about sharing resources I’ve found helpful. Enjoy!
  3. The science behind Box Breathing. You can’t watch this and not try it.
  4. The Sage & Gremlin exercise can be found at the bottom of the page.
  5. Paul’s 'Better You' program commences on the 12th July. It’s not for everyone but it might be just what some of you need.

Paul is also sharing his recommended reading list if you’d like to delve deeper. ‘Man’s Search for Meaning’ is a book that you keep on learning from and is always on my desk; and some of you may previously have heard me reference Carol Dweck’s book.

  • Courage under fire: Testing Epictetus’s doctrines in a laboratory of human behaviour by James Stockdale
  • Leading with Honour: Leadership Lessons from the Hanoi Hilton by Lee Ellis

If you’d like to follow Paul, you can find him on LinkedIn and Instagram.

Thank you again for participating, listening and making the time to invest in your own learning. Stay in touch and huge love from me to you,
